Hurray! Finally, a T-rex for your garden. Though maybe that’s not a good idea. And I agree, but this video will show you some dinosaurs easy to love and tame.
#1 MAGYAROSAURUS
This video is going big. Well, not that big. This is the adorable magyarosaurus. I know what you’re thinking, it’s kind of large, but … not that much, huh? Although it’s a member of the sauropod family, which are the long-necked dinosaurs, the magyarosaurus is only 20 feet long and almost 6.5 feet tall, so it can perfectly walk on the garden. Who’s my favorite sauropod? Of course you are, magyarosaurus. Don’t forget to stock up on many plants because maintaining its 4 tons of weight makes it happy.
#2 PSITTACOSAURUS
What is amazing about the psittacosaurus is that, unlike the magyarosaurus, this is the size of a medium dog, with 1.3 feet in height and 88 pounds of weight. It feeds on leaves, is very agile, can walk on two or four legs, and its main characteristic is the quill-like structures on its tail that, according to scientists, is used by the psittacosaurus to camouflage itself. But what really matters is that you might easily adopt one because it is small and an herbivore. Don’t you think so?
#3 MEI LONG
If you’re into birds … a Mei long is perfect for you. Its name, translated from Chinese, means “soundly sleeping dragon”. The fossils of this dinosaur were found in a bird-like sleeping pose, so it probably was taking a nap when it died. So much sadness. The Mei long is only 1.5 feet tall and weighs 0.6 pounds, so you might have one living in an apartment since it eats both plants and animals. Say goodbye to infestations.
#4 AQUILOPS
If you liked the Psittacosaurus, here is another ceratopsian, which is the triceratops-faced dinosaurs. This is the Aquilops, it has 2 legs too, but hasn’t the Mohican of the Psittacosaurus, which would make it easier to pet. Indeed, it’s small, only 1.3 feet tall and weighs 15 pounds like a big cat. Its name means ‘eagle face’; but don’t worry, the Aquilops would be very happy eating leaves only.
#5 MICROPACHYCEPHALOSAURUS
If you aren’t as skilled as Chris Pratt to play with your Pachycephalosaurus, maybe you can go for this 22-pound mini version. The Micropachycephalosaurus has a thickened dome-shaped skull, very hard that it used to defend against its predators. But this dinosaur is only 1 foot tall and 40 inches long, so I don’t think that cute little round head is very helpful, just imagine to pet it. This animal is very small, and it was believed that it had striped-skin to camouflage itself with the forest and fed on those roots unsee by that the giant dinosaurs. So, if you adopt a mini- Pachycephalosaurus and give it potatoes, that’s enough to make it happy.
#6 COMPSOGNATHUS
Only 6 pounds? A mini schnauzer could eat it up. But beware, if you wanted to have a Compsognathus… Yes, sure, although it’s mainly insectivorous, it’s carnivorous too. With a Compsognatus your house would be roach-free. But, actually, it’s not a good idea to have more than one around the neighborhood. That guy told me he wasn’t going to subscribe to Trendmax. So … you know, click on the bell icon.
#7 LIAONINGOSAURUS
What you were expecting. Did you think that all the ankylosaurs were peaceful giants with hammers on their tails? Well, you’re wrong about they’re giants, about the hammers and a little bit about that they’re peaceful. Look at this face, this is the Liaoningosaurus, the mini ankylosaurus swimmer that eats fish. Yes, that’s right. It adapted itself to catch fish as it was partially aquatic. It was armored like the rest members of its family and was barely 13 inches long. So as long as it has a place to swim in and you don’t run out of canned tuna … it might be happy with you.
#8 WANNANOSAURUS
80 million years ago, bad velociraptors bullied and ate up the little Wannanosaurus. It’s slow due to Its leg build and although it’s an ancestor of the Pachycephalosaurus, its head was barely thickened. If you take it to your home, it could feed on leaves with no problem. It only weighs 44 pounds and measures 1.3 feet. The wannanosaurus doesn’t ask for a big room, it only wants to be in peace.
#9 MINMI
If you want to show off around the neighborhood, a Minmi is for you. It’s a mini-ankylosaurus. Even if this dinosaur is bigger than the Liaoningosaurus, which I mentioned a while ago, this little leaf-eating tank would look great alongside you walking down the street. How tall is it? It’s 3.2 feet tall and 78 inches long and weighs 132 pounds. Now, just imagine that you decorate its armor with jewels like it was a rapper to dazzle.
But if you weren’t astonished by the Pachycephalosaurus, ankylosaurus, bird-like ones, biped ceratopsians or a tremendous mini-sauropod. Get ready, because the next dinosaur is one of the most famous dinosaurs in the world.
#10 GRYPHOCERATOPS
Perfect. I guess an herbivorous triceratops is a safer choice, Sam Neill. But what if we downsize it to 23 inches and remove its horns so that it doesn’t prick anyone? The answer is the adorable Gryphoceratops! One of the smallest ceratopsians of all which makes me want to go to the store and buy vegetables in case one is walking through my garden.
Sadly, they all went extinct 66 million years ago. Well, I leave you now, see you!
