TOP 10 BEST GAMING HEADSETS 2021| Best Sound, Noise Cancelling and Comfort

Comfort, sound quality, wireless or wired? There are many features to consider when choosing a headset, but here I’ll help you out. Come along!

#10 Turtle Beach Elite Atlas Aero

This top starts off big! When you put on the Elite Atlas Aero, you’ll witness a superb sound with noise cancellation, so nothing interrupts your game. You’d have online conversations without problem since its mic is great and can be removed when you no longer need it. If you wear glasses, I have good news for you; its pads were designed so your ears won’t hurt if you have glasses on. There are 2 ways to use it, if you play on PC, you can wear it wireless thanks to its 30-hour battery life. But, if you plan to use a console like an Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo Switch, you’ll have to connect it with a cable included in the box. Its 150-dollar price tag is reasonable, although some people think it could be cheaper. Mind you, the controls are somewhat complicated and have few presets. It’ll take you a bit to get used to them, but once you do, enjoy playing!

#9 Astro A50 Wireless

If you want this headset, you better be prepared to starve because it’s 400 dollars! Ouch! That’s a blow to anyone’s wallet. But I’ll review this luxurious gadget. It’s wireless, of course, and its lithium battery grants you up to 15 hours of continuous use. Also, the brand claims that if you charge it and don’t use it, the battery should last up to 20 months. On the other hand, whether you play on PC, Xbox or PlayStation, this headset connects to everything. Its microphone is amazing, it’ll pick up what you say clearly, without allowing noises to sneak in. Its sound is pretty good, all-around balanced: highs, mids and bass. This headset is very comfortable, and its earpads are friendly for users with glasses. If it had a weak point, it’d be its old-fashioned design, but that’s a matter of taste. So, if you have the money, you can buy this overpriced headset, but if not… this top is just getting started.

#8 Xbox Wireless Headset

Let’s go from the most expensive to something way more reasonable, 100 dollars! A good price for something completely wireless with a 15-hour battery life, just like the previous position. Its sound is also superb and you’ll have great quality online conversations as its mic will filter out background noise. So far so good, right? Its simplicity in design and features might grant it a better position in this top, but there are a couple of things to consider. The first is what you were thinking. The Xbox Wireless Headset works great on PC and Xbox but maintains its rivalry with PlayStation and won’t let you connect to that console. Meanwhile, its comfort is good, but not the most pleasant if you wear glasses. So, if you’re an Xbox fan and don’t need glasses, you know what to buy for 100 dollars, but if you don’t meet those characteristics… keep watching this top.

#7 Razer Kraken X

This is one of my favorites, though I don’t know why. Is it because of its name? Simplicity? Or because you can buy it without having to save money? It’s the cheapest one I’ll show you in this video, at only 50 dollars or even less if you know where to look. It’s wired, and thanks to that, it can offer good audio quality and keep its price within all budgets, although its sound is still slightly inferior to the previous position. However, its microphone is surprisingly good, it doesn’t skimp on call quality while suppressing surrounding noise. It’s also very comfortable, though not necessarily if you wear glasses. If there’s something to criticize, it’s the fixed microphone, it doesn’t move at all. But tell me, would you move the mic? Anyway, it’s just 50 dollars for this simple yet effective headset compatible with everything!

#6 Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT

In this position, let’s take it up a notch in sound quality. This one here is the best headset the brand Corsair has to offer. The sound quality is more than good, it’s excellent! A step above what you’ve seen so far. Its microphone, besides delivering clear conversations, it’s detachable in case you don’t need it. Have you seen its design? It’s impressive with lights on the sides. It’s wireless and compatible with everything, so don’t worry about the brand of your console. Comfortable? It sure is! It could actually improve on is its price, since it’s expensive, 270 dollars. But putting that aside, it’s excellent. It doesn’t rank any higher in this top because its battery lasts 15 hours, which is fine for the previous positions but not so great from this point on. Still, its design is gorgeous, and if you’re willing to pay, you could show off this beauty on your head.

#5 Logitech G Pro X Wireless

When Logitech arrives, other brands tremble! This headset is a bit more expensive than the following positions, but believe me when I say its 200-dollar price tag is justified. It features lightspeed technology, which ensures no latency in sound or your conversations, even if it’s wireless. The mic is good and filters out any noise other than your voice, though it could use some improvement. Mind you, it reproduces sound in an immersive and superb way, so much so that you’ll feel as if you were inside your most fierce games. As for its design, I love its earpads, they’re pretty comfortable for the ears and the headband is reinforced with steel, so this headset is designed to last. The Logitech G Pro X Wireless is compatible with all types of consoles, and its battery lasts 20 hours for non-stop gaming. Any doubts about the power of Logitech?

#4 Epos H3

When you listen to the deep bass of the Epos H3, you’ll feel like in paradise, every sound this device delivers are crisp and create a delightful experience for your ears. Its mic is great too since it’s studio quality, so you can’t ask for more regarding this feature, you can also lift it when you’re not using it. Its headband is made of steel with many length indicators so you can choose the most suitable fit for your head. It’s extremely comfortable, the ergonomic earpads are not only designed to be friendly with your ears but will also wrap around them so you can fully concentrate on your game. However… this might fail depending on the size of the user. Still, it’s wonderful. It’s only 100 dollars, which would be cheap if it weren’t for the fact that it’s wired, and that might be a little uncomfortable for some people, but that price is fair enough for such a product.

#3 HyperX Cloud II Wireless

This one is actually wireless, and it’s great. Its sound is quite powerful; whether you’re playing games or listening to music, the highs, mids and lows sound amazing without interfering with each other. Each note sounds crisp. Its microphone is pretty good and has built-in microphone monitoring, so your conversations are crystal clear. Its design is exceptionally comfortable since the earpads are made of memory foam, and the headband is covered in leatherette, so you won’t feel any pressure. Plus, if you want more comfort, you can detach the microphone when you’re not using it. Another decisive point for this headset to rank so high was its battery, which offers 30 hours of continuous use. All of this balances perfectly with its 145-dollar value. Of course, its bass could improve a bit, and it isn’t compatible with Xbox. That’s why it was beaten by the 2nd place.

#2 Razer Blackshark V2

This one is compatible with everything! PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, you name it! Just plug it in… yes, plug it in because it’s wired, and start playing. Its audio quality is incredible thanks to its 50-millimeter Razer TriForce Titanium drivers, which deliver richer trebles and more powerful bass. Plus, this headset completely isolates you, so nothing interrupts your game. Its microphone has noise cancellation so it only picks up your voice, it’s also detachable in case you don’t need it. If you ask me about my favorite headset of this top, it’d be this one. For only 100 dollars, it offers all features of a top-notch headset with the only condition that it’s wired, which means you’ll never have to charge its battery. It’s also extremely comfortable, thanks to its flowknit foam pads, and has easy-to-use controls. Reasons not to buy it? None. It’s the best of the best.

What could be better than a headset that has it all? It’s the turn of…

#1 SteelSeries Arctis 7P/7X

Compatible with everything and wireless! However, it isn’t one, but two brother and rival headsets. The 7P is the PlayStation edition, while the 7X is for Xbox. You’ve probably already guessed that the 7P is compatible with everything but Xbox, and the 7X is compatible with everything but PlayStation. This is due to the rivalry between those two consoles, but SteelSeries instead of sticking to one, paid tribute to both by releasing an edition for each team. Both feature 24-hour battery life, great sound, and a ClearCast noise-canceling microphone, which is a superior sound filter to anything you’ve ever seen. It’s really comfortable and durable thanks to its elastic steel headband. It only costs 150 dollars, which is a fair price for something slightly better than the runner-up and being wireless. However, the second place barely beats it in sound quality, though the difference is unnoticeable, but I’m nitpicking, so I mention it for you to keep in mind.
