#8 Victorian Style

“Three spoiled dogs live here” That´s what the sign says at the entrance of this spectacular Victorian house. It´s worth mentioning that is one of the most luxurious dog houses in the world. How is this possible?  Well, just to make you die of envy, I tell you that it has heating and air conditioning, vaulted ceilings, handmade curtains, mini blinds, fine upholstery and ceiling fans. The person who commissioned this opulent construction was Tammy Kassis in order to shelter the adorable Chelsea, Darla and Coco Puff. Believe it or not, the idea of building this house resulted from an event that could end in complete tragedy: a hungry bird almost kidnapped one of the babies while they were walking around the property. Noooooo! And I though that this could only happen in the films.

Anyway, after that traumatic moment, they enjoy their own warm bed to snuggle, a large garden surrounded by a white fence and a beautiful entrance full of flowers. The Victorian Style house is full of small details that it even has a small birdhouse, but, no birds of prey, please! No for nothing, the owner has spent more than twenty thousand dollars in this dazzling dog mansion, what is more, she has considered buying a small plasma TV for her conceited. It´s prettier than my own house!   Chelsea, Darla and Coco Puff Don´t you want to adopt me?

#4 Pawj Mahal

This luxurious palace is worthy of a prince or canine princess! According to my very distinguished knowledge of history, the impressive Taj Mahal in India was built by the Muslim emperor Shah Jahan as a sign of his endless love to his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Therefore, one could say that this mini replica is the result of the excessive love that someone can have for his or her dog. The Pawl Mahal is made of architectural foam and stucco, which is a fine grain paste composed of lime; pulverized marble, plaster and natural pigments. It´s an architectural work of art! This impressive castle for dogs has a retail value of nothing less than forty thousand dollars, it´s built to order and its construction is on request, which means it´s completely customizable in terms of size, materials and details both inside and outside. Undoubtedly, this is my favorite house so far, I wonder if the first three positions will dazzle me even more.

#1 Andy Ramus´ Dog House

This creation is the ultimate representation of doggy luxury and extravagance, but also of the unconditional love that someone could have for his or her dog. But Who have built this sumptuous house? That person was none other than the renowned English architect Andy Ramus – who at the request of a surgeon that preferred to remain anonymous – designed this magnificent and ultra- modern dog house. Do you think that the small bed with the old sweater you made for Bobby is enough? Little man! In this residence the dogs have rooms with beds lined with soft sheepskin to rest after an exhausting day guarding the property of its owner. For the moments of relaxation, this house has a sound system, a 52-inch plasma TV so that furry doggies can watch their favorite series on Animal Planet or maybe a good horror movie.
