Of a majestic and robust appearance, the Neapolitan mastiff was used in the Roman wars and as a guard dog. This breed needs a lot of space due to its large size, the male reaches up to 31 inches at the withers and weighs up to 154 pounds. Created from a mutated gene of the traditional Whippets race, the “Bully Whippets” sport a super-developed muscle.
